Community Services

There are several civic organizations whose purpose is to provide services for the Houghton and Hancock areas. These organizations have been broken up by category below and are always looking for volunteers on a variety of projects. LiuRG has been working on chances to give back to the local communities. In a recent effort, LiuRG collaborated with the Keweenaw Community Foundation and and the Houghton County Historical Society to pursue funds to promote the use of renewable energy in the U.P. for more sustainable communities.
